Camacho is a professional foodservice and laundry facilities consulting firm founded in 1962. Headquartered in Atlanta (GA), with additional offices in Charlotte (NC), Birmingham (AL) and Eufaula (AL), our talented, dedicated and hard-charging staff are dedicated to client successes.
For over six decades, we’ve been designing foodservice and laundry facilities with strong emphasis on budget, food choices, staff support, and making attractive facilities that draw attention to the food service program.

Camacho History
Camacho Associates, Inc. was founded in 1962 by Joseph "Joe" Camacho with the first office located in the basement of his Atlanta home.
Joe's son, James, began working at Camacho as a draftsman 38 years ago. James became the president of Camacho in 1991 and has led the company to achieve exceptional international reputation.

Our Consultants and Designers are true independent foodservice Consultants, meaning, we do not buy or sell any equipment, nor do we have any ties to any manufacturer or supplier. This means we specify what is best for the client in terms of quality and costs.
We provide seamless coordination between interior design, architect, and engineering disciplines resulting in a perfect fit and finish.
How We Work
We specialize in implementing new foodservice technologies and appropriate applications and ideas that can greatly impact food service.
- We participate early in the Integrated Project Delivery process to ensure that the food service and laundry design will reflect the overall project sustainability goals.
- We will provide comprehensive utility coordination of equipment requirements within the MEP design and will track this through the construction administration phase.
- We have the staff level to meet any project schedule. Our past clients will state that Camacho is always on-time, accurate, and within budget.
- Camacho utilizes AutoCAD 2019 and Revit Architecture 2019 to provide our clients with a faster and more accurate set of contract documents.

Camacho Associates staffs 15 full-time employees and is a certified Hispanic and Minority Business Enterprise.

President
James C. Camacho, FCSI, CSI, CDT is a professional Foodservice Design Consultant with 41 years of experience. As President of Camacho Associates, Inc. he is the chief designer and oversees all projects from conception to startup.
CFO
Cathey Camacho, as Chief Financial Officer she is responsible to help oversee all areas of operation, finance, human resource, sales, planning and forecasting
Principal
Louise Howard has served the foodservice industry for 42 years. Prior to joining the team of Camacho Associates, Mrs. Howard owned her own firm, providing foodservice designs for more than 31 years. Mrs. Howard is originally from Portland, OR, relocating to Eufaula, AL in 1996.
